(More customer reviews)First off I have to say Amazon has been good to deal with so far, but the product is JUNK!!! DO NOT BUY!!! WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!!!The first table we ordered came in about two weeks. It took 4 strong guys to lift and two guys about 45 min to assemble and level. One major problem, the pool table is warped. If you roll a ball along side each rail, the ball goes to the middle. Also the pool table came damaged. The cues and balls were alright, nothing special, the pockets are smaller than one would find on a bar table. I called amazon and they were great to deal with and shipped a new table right away.
The second table came in about a week, and it was damaged. All of the under table supports were broke. I didnt even bother to waste my time on lifting the thing into my house. I called amazon the next day and they were agian good to work with. The table is going back and I am not going to waste my time on the piece of junk. They are cheaply made and it shows, big time.
If you are getting a pool table for kids that wont care, dont want to spend a lot of money, and would like to have extra head ache in your life, than this is a good pool table. However, if it was my company, I would be embarrassed to sell a product like this.

I have for about a month the table and I can say that is a good purchase according to what you pay. Slate is good and very easy to work with. Instructions are right probably a little short. Everything is included so you dont have to run to Home Depot I would prefer metal in the corners (silver plastic), but it looks nice and I suppose will last with good care. Good service on Amazon side.

If you are looking for a decent pool table (I'd say bar quality) this is more than adequate. With the air hockey on the other side it does just what it says on the box.
If you are looking for a top quality pool table that's going to last 20 years. I'd say invest a bit more money.

Mike Massey Billiards Corner Cue Rack Review

(More customer reviews)I had previously purchase a minnesota fats corner cue rack from K-Mart. It was solid wood and very good quality but was flawed. The felt area for the cue balls was too close together and at the most you could only fit 14 or 15 balls on it. Since, the only reason I purchased the product was for storage of the balls and cue sticks this was unacceptable. I returned it and searched amazon where I found the mike massey rack.
The Mike Massey rack is made of pressed board and is painted. I put my rack together on a soft surface and the paint chipped off the front edges exposing the black pressed board underneath. This product is flawed in that the paint does not adhere to it. This product is very poor quality. Only buy if you don't mind a little wear leaving it looking like it came from a thrift store or a garage sale.

Harvil Tabletop Pool Table with Accessories Review

(More customer reviews)This is a pretty good pool table. It's small enough so that it doesn't take up much room in your home but big enough so that it's not trivially easy to pocket balls.
To address another reviewer's concerns: The balls are a little small and this does mean that it's difficult to control english on the ball. Good position play is still possible though. The balls are pretty easy to get out of the pockets except when they're full (a pocket holds 7 balls). If you reach into the pocket with your palms facing the table (instead of away from it, which would be more natural), it's really easy to get the balls out. The reviewer must have had large hands or short fingers (no offense). To address her other concern, the balls aren't supposed to completely fill up the triangle (just like with the full sized pool balls and triangles); if they did, you wouldn't be able to remove the triangle without disturbing all the balls. What you're supposed to do is use your fingers to push the balls toward the front of the triangle and then hold them there gently while lifting away the triangle.
One thing to note is that there is no foot-spot or head-string on the playing surface and no markings on the rails. One more thing I want to mention is that I've had mine for a few weeks now and the felt around the pockets is already looking just a bit worn. I'm not sure if this is normal wear and tear or if we've possibly been scratching the felt with the cue (entirely possible).
Using the "Ghostball Aim" trainer I created and uploaded to Amazon(see customer image) is an easy and free way to improve without spending money on pool books. (You'll have to download the image and print it out to use it.) You can also cut away half (and a small semi-circle) of the object ball side and use it while playing without disturbing the balls.
Update: I forgot to mention that the pockets have a little hole on the bottom so that you can stick your finger in from underneath to push the balls up and make them easier to reach. Also, do yourself a favor if you buy/own this table (or any other mini-pool table) and get full-sized pool cues (sticks). It will feel more like real pool and help with your aim and stroke and ball control / position play. Get one with a smaller tip than the included mini-cues and you'll be able to control the cue ball better. One final word about the triangle: It is just slightly too big; when you push all the balls against the front, not all the balls will touch. I taped two pieces of cardboard (from a two-pack box of cereal) to one side with electrical tape and now it works perfectly.

I had to put the legs together which was very simple, very nice looking legs! My husband and I lifted the top to place over the frame, but it was too heavy for me. Two strong men should lift it. It fits right on top, bolt it down, level it and play. Looks very, very nice in the den.There is a hollow sound of the balls rolling because it is a simulated slate, but we quickly got used to it. Looks WAY more expensive than it cost.

(More customer reviews)We purchased this pool table for our basement. We didnt want to spend alot of money and wanted to be able to have multiple uses. This table does not disappoint. It was easy to put together (just make sure you are using the right set of directions because the instuctions are made for various tables and it was unclear which one was for this table) once we figured that out we had it together in less than an hour. The table looks great and was leveled VERY easily. One of the reasons we didnt choose some of the other tables were the review on leveling and difficulting in putting it together. This table is great for a family and my husband who loves pool and probably would invest in a more expensive slate table when the children grow up still has many fun "man" nights. In short very nice, with good looks, and multiple uses. Delivery was kind of confusing. The table was shipped on time but the UPS had the wrong phone number to contact for shipping times, which delayed the delivery. Contact UPS once you have a tracking number to verify they have your correct number.

There are no solid and striped balls so its hard to even play with someone. Also there is no cue ball. The sticks are so small you cant even hold them properly in your hand.

(More customer reviews)We just purchased the Minnesota Fats Billiard table for our family for a holiday gift this year. While it seemed a rather expensive purchase, in the end it worked out great for us because I got it on sale and the money was worthwhile spent as we knew the hours of enjoyment it would bring to us, our kids and the kids friends would be more than worth it.
While the website gives you the official 'stats' I can give you more a personal view of it. The dark colored wood is beautiful and the claw feet are ornate but not too fussy. We have it in a basement family room and it does not look too 'fancy' with the claw feet at all!
We really LOVED the beige colored fabric top verses the traditional green. I fully admit that it's really the beige color that sold me on this pool table. It blends into the decor of the basement and from a 'womans' point of view that was important. LOL.
My kids and husband use it about twice a week and although I've seen a little bit of 'pilling' (?) in the fabric it's not bad and can be picked right off. I suspect with a few more months of play it will be worn sufficiently to be completely smooth.
My husband and brother put it together in one evening after the kids were asleep and only had a couple moments of frustration when the directions do tell you to assemble the wooden portion first and then put the screws in and tighten, when in fact, when you do it in that order you can't reach the screw to tighten it and have to take it apart and tighten the screw THEN put the cross piece of wood in place. My only advice is to read directions, then picture it in your head and if it doesn't make sense, use common sense first. *wink*
Overall - sturdy and sound it's not cheaply made, it's camel color is beautiful and the hours of enjoyment it brings is worth every cent.

(More customer reviews)This is a very good quality pool table. It's foldable legs make it portable and the balls feel extremley realistic as well. My only gripes are that the cues feel a little cheap and that after chalking the cues some blue marks are left on the felt surface and the cue ball. The surface is cleanable with the brush but the cue ball's blue mark is perminant. Other than those gripes, it's a great item in terms of both price and quality.

(More customer reviews)To assemble this table it took two of us (experienced DIY guys) a combined time of 7 1/2 hours. You need numerous tools in addition to the little wrench supplied including items such as a needle nose plyers. At one stage of the instructions it calls for four adults to turn over the table top assembly.
After all that work the table is just OK and not particularly good value for money. If you want a cheap labor intensive table this is the one for you. I question the claim of an even run on this surface.
