It comes with pads to place along the edge where the bottom of the conversion top comes in contact with the pool table. It is sturdy and does not slide around (heavy). It arrives in a box with two pieces that slide together (about 50 lbs each piece). It has a great green surface with white lines, just as described on the listing. The shipper was super courteous, and called the night before to let me know when they were bringing the item to my house.
